One of the key challenges of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing is transferring lab processes to equipment suitable for large scale production (from kgs to hundreds of kgs). Upon transitioning in larger vessels, many parameters are impacted (scale-dependent variables) and the consequences of these changes are often difficult to predict.
