What are the ADA guidelines for exhibitors?
In the U.S., all exhibiting companies are required to be in compliance with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and are encouraged to be as sensitive and as reasonably accommodating as possible to attendees with disabilities. Information regarding ADA compliance is available from the U.S. Department of Justice ADA Information Line (800) 514-0301, and from the ADA website at www.ada.gov.

Some examples of how to design and exhibit for ADA compliance:
  • Make exhibits wheelchair accessible by ramping raised exhibit flooring without extending a ramp into the aisle. Note: a standard wheelchair ramp should have a grade no steeper than 1:12. This means that for every inch of rise (change in height), there should be 12 inches of run (change in length). Ramps should have a minimum width of 36 inches.
  • Ramp entry or use hydraulic lifts to trailer exhibit.
  • Avoid double-padded plush carpet to ease mobility device navigation.
  • Provide the same attendee experience on both levels of a two-story exhibit.

How can I make my booth more sustainable?
Supporting a more sustainable future is an important priority for ACS. Exhibitors are encouraged to incorporate eco-friendly practices into their booths whenever possible. For ideas and guidance, please review our exhibitor sustainability tips here.

Are Exhibitors allowed to serve food or beverages in their booth?
Yes. You are permitted to order food and beverages for your booth from Sodexo Live! - Ernest N. Morial Convention Center's Exhibitor Menu.

Online Ordering coming soon through the Exhibitor Service Kit.

Sodexo Live! is the exclusive food and beverage provider for the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. All food and beverage items in the exhibit halls must be purchased through the Sodexo Live! food and beverage department. This includes bottled water.

Are Exhibitors allowed to offer raffles, games, or giveaways in their booth?
Yes. Exhibitors must submit plans for any contests, demonstrations, giveaways, etc. to ACS Show Management. Please submit requests in writing to expo@acs.org by February 26, 2027. Distribution of advertising and souvenirs must be confined to the Exhibitor's booth and cannot interfere with normal traffic flow or infringe on neighboring Exhibitors. Distribution of items is not permitted in the aisles or within the public areas of the building unless otherwise approved in advance.

If you plan to offer a raffle, game, or giveaway, inform us in writing for the chance for us to highlight this opportunity where possible. Email us at expo@acs.org.

Can Exhibitors distribute materials or solicit attendees outside of their assigned booth space?
To protect the value of participant investments and ensure a fair environment for all participants, ACS enforces a strict no-suitcasing policy. Suitcasing refers to the practice of non-exhibiting companies or individuals soliciting business in the expo hall, conference areas or other event-related spaces without being an official exhibitor or sponsor. Only registered Exhibitors with assigned booth space are permitted to promote, market or solicit products and services, and only within the confines of their contracted exhibit space.

Where do I find shipping information?
Shipping information including addresses, deadlines, labels, and more will be available in the Exhibitor Service Kit coming in December 2026.

How many exhibitor badges are included with my booth space?
Two (2) Exhibitor Full Conference badges are included with each 10'x10' booth space. Exhibitor Staff Only badges are available for limited purchase.

Exhibitor access includes Exhibitor Full Conference or Exhibitor Booth Only badges. Exhibitor access is for Exhibitor staff requiring access to the Expo Hall for setup outside of general admission hours.
